Mika – there’s media query support built-in to the system that detects page widths and allows you to assign an appropriate number of columns. You can find more info on that in the “Modifying columns” section of this:

Hallo Todd,

I know the media query support from koken but I would like to change the "img ratio" only for the one columns smartphone view. Can I check, which view-modus (smartphone, tablet or desktop) is active?

I do not want to assing the columns. I want to read out the number of columns.

Thanks Mika

Mika – you won’t be able to change the aspect ratio / crop of an already published image, if that’s what you’re trying to do. The information that is used to generate the image’s aspect ratio / crop is used for the desktop view and all other views as well. It’s not possible to regenerate images using different settings for a specific media query. The images scale up/down in size as they are across every dimension.
