Change set name in URL

Craig Patik

I created a set called "Germany 2014" and deleted it. Later I created another set called "Germany 2014". When I publish the set, the URL says "germany-2015" (wrong year). On every page it displays correctly ("2014") so it's just the URL that's wrong. I assume the old set name is stuck in the database somewhere and the new set is simply incrementing to avoid a conflict. How can I get my new/current set to use 2014 instead of 2015?

I figured it out. I launched phpMyAdmin, went into the Koken database, and updated the slug in the tables "koken_albums" and "koken_slugs". Everything seems to be working now.

Craig, thank you very much for this. I've been having this problem (with album URL numbers counting up) since 10/19 with no answer from Koken. This experience makes me very hesitant to purchase a theme. Following your instructions by accessing phpMyAdmin in my hosting provider's control panel, and editing the tables as you recommended, fixed it.

Several other people have experienced this problem so I will point them here in those threads.
