Tjeerd Paul Jacobs

Hi,

I changed the name of a category on my website, but the site link keeps the old name.
In library i see the old site link but i can't change it. It's grey.

Any idea?

Thanks!

Paul

Paul – by “category” do you mean an actual category (as in, categories/tags), or are you talking about albums? Categories don’t publish site URLs in the console, so I’m assuming you’re asking about albums.

Anyway, yes that’s true, once an album has been created its URL is fixed. Edits to the album title thereafter won’t change its URL (at least not currently – something we’re planning on looking at). The workaround here would be for you to create a new album with the title you want then move the content from that old album to the new one. Then you’ll have the URL you want.

Hope that helps!
