Madison 2 and "content" page

Hi

quick question:

1. is there a way to have a fixed number of images shown in "content" page?
For an example, just show the last 8 uploads.

2. are there any plans to have control over each album if i want to have "grid" or "list"?
for some project i would prefer "list", for others" grid". I am looking for a way to have a "365 journal" , which is actually an "album" in "list" view and having the date/caption shown....

If you were designing your own theme/template you could add a hard limit to the page load (koken:load tag) so it returns no more than 8, but you’re probably asking about through the Site editor. You can publish a copy of the contents index that only displays images assigned a particular tag/category. We explain that here: http://help.koken.me/customer/portal/articles/1140411-add-filtered-content-pages

Or, instead of tags/categories you could add images to Featured Content in the Library, then do the same thing with a filtered page.

At the end of the day the page would still be something you’d have to manually assign content to. There isn’t a macro-type of way to say “most recent [n] imports” or something to that effect.

2. are there any plans to have control over each album if i want to have “grid” or “list”?

In general yes we are working towards allowing albums to have unique publishing properties that would allow them to appear differently from one another instead of the one size fits all approach of now where the album page layouts are the same for every album.

Hope that helps!
