Individual sort order in Madison 2?

Hi, I am considering to upgrade from Axis to Madison 2, but before doing that I would need some input:

1) In Axis I really miss the ability to have individual sort order for albums ( e g as requested here: and as discussed in my previous post here Is this solved in Madison 2? I think it would be really useful, since for example some albums are made to tell a story and then you want to display them after ascending capture date (oldes first) whereas other albums are more of general collections and then you want to display them as descending capture date (newest first).

2) If I upgrde from Axis (1) to Madison 2, could I still revert back to Axis if the new theme does not work out as I had hoped? Asking this since I have noticed that Axis is not offered free anymore.

Hi Martin – thanks for the questions.

1) Right now all collection content is published in the order in which they appear in the Library. You can override that order by applying a filter to the album page, but doing so would apply the same filter to all albums. This isn’t a question of theme support, but rather support in Koken itself, which isn’t there right now. This is something however that is high-high-high on our to-do list, so expect to see progress there soon.

2) Yes, you can revert to any theme. Koken saves drafts of every theme you edit, so you can always roll-back to a draft of a previously used theme or start over with a new draft of a theme (and use its default settings).

Let me know if you have any questions!
