firewall issues

Sep 24, 2014 01:39AM EDT

So my site is up and running great, love your simplicity by the way. Anyway when I am work I get this:

"Your request was denied because of its content categorization: "none"
If you feel the web site is mis-categorized, please submit a request to change the web site's category at WebPulse Site Review.
Please confirm you select 'Blue Coat ProxySG' as the Filtering Service when submitting the request"

Is there a way to change my content category on my site? I know it's a site issue and not a domain host issue because I get the same issue when I run the straight IP yet I can ssl and ftp to the same ip address. I was able to access it no problem using Joomla but when I switched I started getting this error from my works firewall, yet I can still ftp to the IP so they aren't blocking my ip just my website. I am using ubuntu if that helps in resolveing this issue. I'd just need to switch it to photo site or something other than none and I'm sure it would work.

Thank you.

Ian – As far as I know, there is no way of changing the category in Blue Coat’s settings, only the person who administrates the firewall at your company can make those changes.

Thank you. After a long night of working on the issue, Blue Coat emailed me letting me know that it is a "database" thing for each firewall based on several factors and they changed mine to a personal site, but that doesn't necessarily mean it will be allowed because they have a general database and the customer, my employer, determines which of those categories are allowed on there network. Thank you for getting back, hopefully my dilemma will help someone else with a similar issue.
