Slideshow breaks with html in description.

Sep 04, 2014 05:29AM EDT

Added html links and a small photo under a couple of my photos and when the lightbox slideshow gets to these it returns to the first photo in the slideshow, and you can't click on anything. You have to use the browser's back button.

Collection in question:

First photo with html, that breaks the slideshow:

HTML that breaks the slideshow:

Haven't been able to find much information on D.R. Sperry & Co. What I have found, I found <a href="">HERE</a>. <br>Skillet is embossed JULY 26TH, 1887 on the underside of the handle.<br>This is by far the smoothest finished skillet I own, the cooking surface is like glass.<br><a href="">Barton E. Sperry Spider Patent Information</a>

<div align="center"><a href=" Sperry & Co&pg=RA1-PA36#v=onepage&q&f;=false"><img src="" width="200" height="230" />

<center><b>David R. Sperry</b><br>May 26th 1825 - Dec. 31st 1896 <br> Age - 71 Years</center>

Rick – thanks for the information. For the time being we actually wouldn’t recommend inserting HTML markup like that into your captions for it could easily break the page layout if your elements were to pick up styles applied by the parent theme. We’ll of course take a look at this when we can, but for now I recommend either not using the lightbox or trimming your captions.

Thanks for the reply Todd,

It would be nice if we had the same formatting options for captions that we have with essays, but I know that would open up a whole other can of worms, and changing of the captions interface area etc..
