Regale 2: scrollbar on albums page

Aug 30, 2014 02:10AM EDT

Dear support team,
in Regale 2 on the albums page, the CSS style below causes a vertical scrollbar to appear although the content should fit without. (Is the padding maybe not considered when sizing the album images ?)
#kpgrid_content:after {
clear: both;
content: " ";
display: block;
height: 0;
padding-bottom: 30px;
visibility: hidden;

Holger – which OS / browser are you seeing this in? And do you see it here?

Hi, thanks for following up on this.
I am usually using Firefox.
At the link, none of the pages in the nav menu fits in the browser window, so I would see a scrollbar anyhow in all cases. On my albums page, it does not show a cover image our text but actually just displays four images with subtitles in two rows (first row 3, then 1), each representing an album. I can see that this is nicely aligned (vertically) but the scrollbar is there nonetheless.
Playing with Firebug, I noticed that changing the padding-bottom does not help. Instead, If I disable either of "clear:both", "content: ' '" or "display:block" then the scrollbar disappears.
I am not so sure about the best way to further find out what's causing this.

Holger – I’m still not seeing this in our example (linked above) when viewing it in Firefox 31 / Windows 7, which I believe is what you’re using. So I think the next course of action would be viewing the page you’re looking at. Can you provide me with that page URL?

My sincere apologies.
This was caused by custom css - so rather mine than your problem.
I traced it down to the following two parts contributing to it:
.kpgriditem .content_text {
h2 {
font-size: 28px;

Still - I'd be glad to learn of course whether there was an easy way to mitigate this.
The site is non-public and not yet live. If you still think it makes sense to have a look (also despite the problem being on my side) let me know and I'll set up a temporary login.

Again, my apologies.
