Hi,

I am very new to Koken. I am following Koken help to make my website. Problem I am facing is with Showing a series of pictures on my home page. I uploaded multiple images to Featured Content Folder and also added an whole album to Featured Album, however only first image appears on my homepage. I need that series with scroll capability. Also is there a way to increase the height of the picture ?

Can someone please assist.

Thank you.
Kunal

Boulevard’s front page displays featured albums, so each “slide” displays the primary cover of each album in Featured Albums. So for multiple slides/images you’d need to create more albums and add them to Featured Albums in the Library.

Thank you Todd. Now its working fine.

However what I expecting it to display certain images without creating album of it ?

For e.g.

1. If I have only couple of landscape that I would like to show in my "slides", do I have to have a folder made for those files. I do street and it will be odd to have album with just two images.

2. If I like to show two images that I equally like and belongs to same album ? Is there any workaround you are aware of ?

Thank you,
Kunal

Boulevard is designed for showcasing albums, but…you might have some luck with Favorites. There’s a “Favorites” template in the list of options in Site. To show images in that template you’d drag/drop them to “Favorites” in the left column of the Library. That would give you a scrolling list of images that may or may not be part of an album.

No luck so far !!! I dont see any difference on site if you place an image as Favorite.

See one of the Boulevard examples from Koken's site. http://fotografiamoya.com/ I think here web owner is able to control what appears on slideshow. Additionally if you click on the image it moves to next image, in my case it goes to the album to which that image belongs to.

Thank you for the help.

Kunal – that page you describe is the featured albums template, which is used by default as the front page. After you add images to Favorites in the Library you’d then need to click on “Add links” in the left column of the Site editor then add the Favorites template. You should then see the favorites. If after that you want that page as your front page, you’d do this: http://help.koken.me/customer/portal/articles/1146024-assign-new-front-page

Hello Todd,
I am using Boulevard theme. As you explain, i decide to use "favorites" to display a scrolling preview of my work on the front page.
The problem is : when i change the name of "favorites" to "welcome" (as example) in the menu,
the name of the page refers to the library and remain " favorites",
So the same page has differents name in the menu and in the header.

Is there a way to fix that?

thanks a lot!

You can change the Favorites label through Settings, which we explain here:
