Site links for Content

Hi,

I want to create a content page on my site where I show my content based on date uploaded. The default for content is to show based on date published. So to achieve what I want I have to:
1. Add Content page
2. Rename Content page to Content2
3. Press the + sign next to a new Content page and add a new content page with whatever options I want

The new Content page looks fine. My only problem is that the link is content-2 which I don't like. Could you please advise how can I get a custom Content page with "content" in the permalink?

Regards,

Yiannis

I'd like to second this request. I've found it quite frustrating to create links with proper permalink names, as it often requires a bit of experimentation with the different page types & options to get things just right. Once a page has been published, it seems as if the permalink is baked into the database, never to be changed again. I have lots of orphaned pages like this, I'm sad to say.

I think the rule of thumb here is when creating that page to enter into its name field the name you want not just for the page but for use in the link as well. Keep in mind that it’ll be used for both, so instead of “Content2” give it a name that’s inline with what you want. You should be able to delete that link you created and go through the steps again.
