Blurry covers (480px)

I've cleared a cache for accepting new settings of image publishing, and some of medium covers (480px) became blurry.

BUT! If I copy a path to image and open it in new window, I see a good and sharp image —,
If I open my site on iPhone or iPad I see a good quality covers too.

I suppose, it is because of changing GD to Imagick. I've read some tests of this two modules, and Imagick is more accurate and more fast for image resizing and sharpening, so I've turned Imagick on.

What can I do to fix it without changing a type of image processing?
And what do you recommend to use with Koken for more accurate and fast processing: Imagick or GD?

Hi – the thumbnails on that page actually look great to me. Perhaps your browser cache needs clearing? If you’re still seeing an issue let me know which ones.

I'm still seeing it and tested it on several browsers (Safari, Chrome, Opera, Firefox).

I've made a screenshot with combining a screenshot of my site with originally generated image (287x192). And if you will see on this attentively, you will see that original image is smaller in width per one pixel than image in the site.

I think it's because of adaptive scaling of content to my screen size (1440x900).

But I don't understand, why I don't have the same problem when I use GD library for image processing.

Robert – Can you send me an FTP login so I can investigate further? We’re having a hard time replicating this here.
