API Error

Jordi Foto

I type the adress of my site www.jordifoto.cat
and I only see this!
"API Error: The theme is not able to make contact with your Koken installation. Contact your host to see if they are blocking loopback connections. "

I contacted my host server and they fixed the loopback thing but still didin't work.
The site was properly working a few days ago. I also cleared the caches, but still anything!

Can you provide some help, please?

Thanks!

Hello. Everything looks good. It must’ve been a temporary server problem.

Usually those types of API errors that happen after a period of activity (uploading images, etc) are due to your host’s resource limitations. They typically go away after a period of time, but the actual cause is on the hosting side.

As Koken is self hosted the first step is to contact your hosting company’s tech support to see if they’re having a problem. Check with them to see if your server has some sort of resource cap you are running into that would stop processes from running. Also ask them what kind of error messages are in their logs.

Thank you for choosing Koken for your photography website.
