Cache issues

Rui Campos

Good morning.
I have a 1,5Gb capacity server and 3 sites.
Cache that Koken generates is accupying me all this huge ammount of space. A upload images always under 1Mb size. I should not have the server capability full, not even half of it.
I would like you to explain me, in you please, is this issue is normal , or if I can do anything to avoid Koken to generate this huge ammount of cache.

Thank You

Rui

Rui, you can periodically delete the contents of the /koken/storage/cache/api folders to free up space.

A key part of Koken involves image generation and caching. Koken creates images by using image processing software installed on your web server. This process takes your uploaded images and generates smaller versions for use inside Koken and on your public web site. A variety of image sizes are generated for optimum load times across all screen sizes (phones, tablets, desktops, etc). In all, Koken has the potential to create 28 different caches for each image you add to your library.
