Hi, how to change the site to run SSL? i have tried to alter the htacces file, but though the site gets the https, the padlock is not showing, and also i cant acces the admin area ;(

Why is there no "switch" inside the admin to turn on SSL

My host (one.com) has turned on the certificate for the domain.

Hope it can be fixed

The site is: bryllupsfotograf.biz

Have you edited the .htaccess file to use HTTPS? Connect to your server via FTP. Open the .htaccess file in a text editor. At the top of the file are instructions about activating https for admin pages. You can also change to / instead of /admin/ so it works for the whole site. Here’s what it should look like:

  1. Uncomment the following block to force SSL when accessing /admin
    <IfModule mod_rewrite.c>
    RewriteEngine On
    RewriteCond %{REQUEST_URI} /
    RewriteCond %{SERVER_PORT} 80
    RewriteRule ^ https://%{HTTP_HOST}%{REQUEST_URI} [L,R=301]
    </IfModule>
