LR Plugin

Dear Koken Team,
I have a question concerning the LR-Plugin: Is it possible to assign the LR-Plugin with more than one LR Catalogue? In my case I have 2 LR catalogues, from which I would like to import pictures into my Koken library. Is this possible and if so, how does it work? Especially if I would like to sync the pics from both LR Catalogues into the same folders/collections in Koken…
Thanks in advance, kind regards,
Michael

Hello.Yes. In Adobe Lightroom add images to different Collections. See:

Then create a new Album or Set in the Koken Publish Service. Remember that the Lightroom publishing plugin is strictly a one way “push” of content from Lightroom to Koken. You must create the sets and albums in Lightroom, you cannot “link” to an album you create in the Koken console. If you add or delete images in the same album from within Koken there will be problems as the content is no longer in sync. For the albums and sets you intend to manage with Lightroom you must push everything from Lightroom.

Set the Album in the Koken Publish Service as the target collection. Then add the images from the different LR collections to the Koken target collection. See:

Publish. The plugin creates the new album in Koken and uploads the images.

Hello,
thanks but this wasn't my question. My question was if it's possible to publish from 2 different Lightroom catalogues (= databases) into one Koken Library (using the same Albums).

Example:
I have an Album "People" which I created in the Koken publish Service of Lightroom in my Lightroom catalogue 1. Everything's fine. Album was created in Koken by the publish Service, 10 Pictures were published. So far so good.
But now I would like to publish pictures from another Lightroom catalogue (database), let's call it Lightroom catalogue 2, into the same Album "People" within my Koken library. Following the instructions I would set up the Koken publish Service in my Lightroom catalogue 2, create again an Album called "People" and drag 5 Pictures into that Album of the Publishing Service.
What happens now while synchronizing this Album to Koken library? Will the 5 Pictures of my catalogue 2 merge with the 10 Pictures from my catalogue 1. Or will this cause issues because I'm using the same target Album ("People")?

Thanks once more for your Support - I don't want to Crash my great working Publishing Service in LR catalogue/database 1.

Hi, it is my understanding that you cannot publish from two different LR catalogues.
