Hi there,

I've just been trying to add albums and images to the Featured collection with no success. My albums are all listed in Public with no sets, I click on an album in the Public view and use the edit menu to apply to Featured. Have tried a similar process for individual images. The album/image becomes starred and I get a confirmation that it has been added. If I then navigate to Featured it is not there, and when I navigate back, the album/image has lost its star.

I'm using Madison 2 theme, Koken version 0.22.20

I have tried refreshing both the system and image cache multiple times, any help would be appreciated!

Hi Dan.

Refreshing the image cache is a resource intensive process; doing it multiple times is likely to exceed a shared hosting server’s allocated resources. If Koken exceeds the limits placed by your hosting company, you’ll have instability and errors. My recommendation is for you to ask your host’s tech support what kind of error messages are in their logs.

If limits are hit on a shared server, or if memory usage starts to affect other users on the same machine, a procwatch daemon that runs on all shared servers will stop running processes if a site’s own resource usage starts to affect other user’s site stability in a shared environment. That’s why it’s intermittent, it only happens when the server stops serving and is very difficult to identify and diagnose.

Hey thanks for the in-depth reply, I just checked back in with it today and it's working. I'll try to avoid clearing the cache unless absolutely necessary!
