Problem with deleting pictures

Unable to delete uploaded pictures.
Application responds saying image deleted but trash empty and image stays in content.
Everything else works fine.
Did 3 completely Fresh Server installs. Same problem.
Installs run fine.
Same server config runs fine on other Ubuntu LAMP 16.04 With PHP 7.0

Hello. Please make sure the database user account has full permissions.

The database user has full permissions but is not root.
The setup is identical for the two solutions.
Adding and configuring works fine.
Only deleting an image is impossible although the delete function return "image deleted"
Could it be a directory or file permission problem.

Yes, it could be. Connect via FTP and compare permissions between the working and non working installations.

Both sites have the exact same permission settings and owner properties.
The applications keeps on saying image deleted but except for the message nothing happens.

Please try using Google Chrome Incognito mode. It may be a problem with the browser’s cache. Also, delete the contents of the /koken/storage/cache/api directory.

No Change.
Tried Chrome in Incognito Mode
Safari in Private mode
Deleted all cache files.

Hello. Please send us an email from here http://help.koken.me/customer/portal/emails/new with a description of what’s happening. Include the url to your Koken admin page and the email address and password to login to Koken. Also include the credentials necessary to connect to your server via FTP.

ftp server url
ftp username
ftp password.

We’ll have a look.
