Hi Michael,

A couple of things to keep in mind about the Lightroom publishing plugin. First, and most importantly, it is strictly a one way “push” of content from Lightroom to Koken. If you add or delete images in the same album from within Koken there will be problems as the content is no longer in sync. Also, uploading images is dependent upon available bandwidth and server resources. Unfortunately, it may occasionally time out and fail as you describe. Finally, if you have images in Lightroom that reside on a remote server or external hard drive that may also introduce additional latency and affect the performance.

For a more details, see: Koken Publish Service for Adobe Lightroom

If issues persist, try exporting the images from Lightroom rather synching. See: Exporting without syncing

There are a lot of moving parts getting the images from wherever they’re stored to your hosting company and into the database. I’m not sure what we can do to troubleshoot the issue for you.
