Follow these instructions to install any Koken plugin.

  1. Connect to the server where Koken is installed with your FTP client.
  2. Navigate to to your Koken installation's storage/plugins directory.
  3. Upload the plugin folder to storage/plugins.
  4. Sign-in to Koken, then visit the Settings > Plugins page to activate (and setup, if necessary) your uploaded plugin.

Official Koken plugins are updatable through the console when new versions are released. You can see if any of your installed plugins have updates available by clicking "Settings" in the console's main navigation, then "Plugins" in the left column. An update button will be displayed next to any applicable plugin. At this time, third party plugins must be manually updated with an FTP client.

If you don't see the plugin in Settings > Plugins after installation you may need to clear the API cache. To do so, use your FTP client and navigate to storage/cache/api folder. Delete all the files it contains (don't worry, this won't hurt anything). After everything is gone, clear your browser cache for safe measure, then reload Settings > Plugins. The recently installed plugin should now be visible.
