Themes and plugins offered through the Koken Store download and self-install to your Koken installation. Here's an overview of how this works.
Installing free themes and plugins
If a Koken theme or plugin is free its product page will display an Install button. When clicked this will immediately download and install the item to your Koken installation.
Installing premium themes and plugins
Premium themes and plugins must be purchased and installed using a Koken Store account. Create a new account or sign-in to your existing account. You will then be allowed to purchase the premium item in your cart.
After a purchase has been made you will be redirected to the Purchases section of your account page. Any purchased item that has yet to be installed will display an Install button. Click the button and your installation of Koken will download and install the item automatically.
Installing a theme does not automatically switch your public site to that theme, nor does installing a plugin automatically enable the plugin. To enable a newly installed plugin, click on Settings in Koken's main navigation, then Plugins in the left column. There you'll see an Enable button next to your new plugin. In the case of themes, click Site in Koken's main navigation, then Themes in the bottom row. Click the theme to assign it as your current draft, then publish live when ready.
Reinstalling a theme or plugin
If for some reason you need to reinstall a premium theme or plugin, go back to the same Purchases screen (displayed above). Installed items will now display a Reinstall button, which when clicked will download and install the item again.
