i'm new to koken. The management on the back end is really cool, but browsing the photos in the front end are not so good in my opinion.
I mean, i want to browse through the thumbs in an album, and by clicking a thumb i want to go directly to a big view of this photo with the feature to move to the next/previous photo (like the lightbox), but without the step between to see a content-page of this single photo. Closing the lightbox should navigate me back to my thumbs inside the album.
Also, is there an alternative to the lightbox? What lightbox makes me crazy is, i cannot zoom in to a photo, and browsing to the next photo hides the lightbox while loading the photo (in InternetExplorer), so user can think the box has closed. The next thing is, if i close the lightbox, i'm in the content page of a photo. Now i click to the browsers back button. I expect to get back to the thumbs of the album, but instead the lightbox is shown again.
So the navigation is very annoying to me.
Are there settings or other possibilities to customize the users browsing experience.

Thank you

Rico – much of what you talked about actually depends on which theme you’re using and how the settings are setup. Some themes allow you to launch the lightbox when clicking on an image inside an album, and when closing you go back to where you where in the page. It all depends really on which page you launch that lightbox from as to how the close link works.

As for the IE issue, haven’t heard of that before. Which version of IE are you using?
