Scrolling images in Elementary

richard

I am using the Elementary theme. I forget what I did to create the page, but one page on my site has large images that scroll vertically with the mouse wheel. I like this layout. My other pages all have grids of thumbnails. In the right side control panels, the "template" section says no template data for that page. All the other pages have both theme and template data.

How can I make more pages with large images that scroll, either vertically or horizontally? Thanks.

Richard – the closest page I can think of in Elementary that displays large scrolling images would be the Timeline page. Perhaps that’s what you’re thinking of? Or perhaps you tried out a different free theme and are thinking of that one.

Hello Todd. If you don't mind, could you take a look at the site and see what you think. The url is http://www.rckleinberg.com/koken/ and the "malls" page displays with scrolling while the other pages have thumbnails. Thanks for your help.

I figured out the answer. The images are listed on a "page" and they scroll vertically top to bottom.

It might be good if Koken were to to add such a format with vertical and horizontal scrolling options and sizing options as an option in the "collections" display mode.

Richard – sounds good. If you haven’t already you might consider looking into some of the other free/premium themes that are available through the Store. Click on Store inside your Koken installation, then Themes. Other themes include collection pages that display large, scrollable images like you describe.
