Video Player without FFMPEG, Customize html head in Madison

Sep 29, 2016 06:30AM EDT

1. Video Player without FFMPEG
Since installing FFMPEG is a pain i. t. a., I suggest you simply provide 2 extra fields in the app:
one for thumbnail specification/upload
one for an alternative .ogv version of the video
THIS IS SIMPLE, I already set it up this way with another CMS. Mediaelementplayer can be fully customized.

2. Customize html head in Madison
Exactely which is the file in Madison where one can customize the html head section. I want to get rid of a number of links/meta-tags e.g. the rss links and add other. Could you please provide me with a path?

Regarding 1. : Done.

Regarding 2. :
Please provide me with a path to the file not to the help article (nothing useful can be found there.) If I clear the whole html <head> section in /layouts/header.html, there are still links created, e.g. for generator, theme, jquery … and rss. In which file(s) can I edit these for Madison?

Please tell me how to remove automatically generated tags from the html <head> section. We cannot publish the site as it is now!

We don't want
- opengraph
- rss
- generator + theme metas
- canonical links

Rearding professional publishing the customization of code is a must. You cannot force people into ways/pipes of publication that don't comply with their professional standards as e. g. usage rights. We BOUGHT Koken with Madison because it is advertised as being customizable.

Thanks for a quick reply,

Koken is entirely customizable. Extensive documentation is available in the Building custom Koken site themes and plugins. section of our Help Center. Specific instructions to customize the code and modify themes are beyond the scope of our free support.
